Skin thickening or calluses

• The formation of calluses is a healthy and natural protective skin function during stress
• Thick foot skin forms due to dryness, pressure, and friction, usually on the heels and soles of the feet
• The skin then produces more specialized skin cells, corneocytes. The stratum corneum itself consists of dead skin cells, so it can also be removed painlessly

PERFECT FOOT CARE

Step 1

Foot bath and scrub with Vital Pedi foot bath salt (15 min.) Based on Dead Sea salts, rich in skin-softening minerals and essential oils of thyme, Scots pine, eucalyptus, lavender, rosemary, and mint, as well as bamboo and birch extracts. All of this has a deodorizing and restorative effect.

Step 2

Dry your feet, finish by filing your nails, and remove cuticles.

Step 3

Foot mask with foot restorative cream. Apply a thick layer of cream, put on socks, and leave the cream on for 20 minutes; then massage in and remove any excess cream.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

UREA

• Urea is a component of the skin's own moisturizing system (NMF). It dissolves keratinized skin cells (keratolytic effect)
• Penetrates the upper layer of the skin, where it binds water and slowly releases it over a longer period. This way, it moisturizes and soothes the skin for several hours
• At higher concentrations, urea also has a slightly antibacterial and anti-itching effect

GLYCOLIC ACID (fruit acid)

• Has a very small molecular size, so it can act within the epidermis
• Positively affects dryness, aging, pigment spots, and other blemishes
• Stimulates skin renewal and collagen formation
• Protects the skin from free radicals

D-PANTHENOL (vitamin B5)
